The purpose of this study is to see how long telavancin stays in the body of children aged 1 to 17 years old. Telavancin is a drug approved to treat infections in adults, but has never been given to children before.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) of the research study drug, tedizolid phosphate (TZD), also known as SIVEXTRO, and its active metabolite tedizolid in subjects with known or suspected gram positive infection, and test the safety and tolerability of intravenous (IV) or oral TZD administration in pediatric subjects.
