Alison Ziari
Senior Vice President of the Arkansas Children's Practice Plan and President of the Arkansas Children's Professional Services Organization, Arkansas Children's, Inc.
Alison Ziari, M.D., M.S., serves as senior vice president of the Arkansas Children’s Practice Plan and president of the Arkansas Children’s Professional Services Organization (ACPSO). Dr. Ziari is a pediatrician and physician executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience across large, multi-specialty medical groups and integrated health systems.
She brings deep expertise in medical group governance, physician engagement and operational transformation, with a strong track record of improving access, quality and financial performance. Before joining the Arkansas Children's team, Dr. Ziari served as chief clinical and operations officer for Swedish Medical Group within the Providence Swedish Health System in the Pacific Northwest, where she helped lead one of the region’s largest multi-specialty medical groups.
In her role at Arkansas Children’s, Dr. Ziari will oversee the Arkansas Children’s Practice Plan and ACPSO, supporting the management and operational transformation of hospital-based and outpatient medical practices. Her responsibilities include fiscal management, provider deployment, quality measurement and the centralization of professional revenue cycle functions, including billing, coding and payer enrollment, to improve coordination and support for clinicians across the system.
She will work collaboratively across Arkansas Children’s with strategy, operations and finance teams, as well as externally with partners including UAMS, Medicaid and private payers to support system-wide alignment and performance improvement.
