Arkansas Children's Hospital (Little Rock)

Arkansas Children’s, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric surgeon at the assistant or associate professor level to be based in Little Rock. Successful candidates will join the state’s only pediatric health system and play a key role in shaping the future of children’s health in our region. 

                 

General Surgery Program and Position Highlights

Join a dynamic team at Arkansas Children’s of six surgeons and numerous advanced practice providers and specialty nurses, providing nationally ranked and recognized care to patients statewide and regionally. Other highlights include:

Qualifications for this position:

  • Successfully completed general surgery residency 
  • ACGME-accredited pediatric surgery fellowship 
  • ACGME-accredited surgical critical care fellowship 
  • American Board of Surgery certified or eligible in General Surgery, Pediatric Surgery and Surgery Critical Care 
  • Strong interest in growing a clinical practice  
  • Commitment to research, resident and fellow education and surgical quality 

The American College of Surgeons Children's Surgery Verification Program verified ACH as a Level 1 Surgery Center
