LITTLE ROCK, AR. (March 23, 2026) – EZ Spanish Media hosted its 16th annual Creadores de Milagros (Miracle Makers) Radiothon March 20–22, raising more than $108,000 in support of Arkansas Children’s.

The three-day fundraising event aired on EZ Spanish Media’s two Arkansas radio stations — KOLL La Zeta 106.3 FM in Little Rock and KSEC La Zeta 95.7 FM in Springdale. Community members supported Arkansas Children’s throughout the Radiothon by calling, texting and donating online.

“Each year, our listeners and community come together during the Creadores de Milagros Radiothon to support the children and families who rely on Arkansas Children’s,” said Eddie Vega, president of EZ Spanish Media. “It’s inspiring to see how generous people are when they hear the stories of hope and healing happening every day at Arkansas Children’s. We are proud to use our stations to bring the community together and help ensure kids across Arkansas received the care they need.”

During the radiothon, DJs from both stations broadcast for three consecutive 12-hour days, encouraging listeners to support Arkansas Children’s by sharing information about the pediatric health care system and interviewing families and individuals whose lives have been directly impacted by care at Arkansas Children's Hospital and Arkansas Children's Northwest.

Creadores de Milagros has become a longstanding community tradition since its launch 16 years ago. Over the past 16 years, EZ Spanish Media’s annual radiothons have raised more than $3 million to support programs, services and care provided through Arkansas Children’s.

The annual broadcast highlighted patient stories and the impact of community support while inviting listeners across the state to contribute and help advance pediatric health care for children and families served by Arkansas Children’s.

“EZ Spanish Media has been an incredible partner to Arkansas Children’s for many years,” said Enid Olvey, president of the Arkansas Children’s Foundation. “Through the Creadores de Milagros Radiothon, their team helps bring our mission to life by sharing powerful stories and inviting the community to support children and families across Arkansas. We are deeply grateful to Eddie and the entire team for their dedication and generosity.

ABOUT ARKANSAS CHILDREN’S

Arkansas Children's is the only health system in the state solely dedicated to caring for Arkansas' 850,000 children. The private, non-profit organization includes the Arkansas Children’s Golisano Campus in Little Rock, home to Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), and the Arkansas Children’s Pat Walker Campus in Springdale, home to Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW). The two pediatric hospitals host 361 licensed beds, supported by a pediatric research institute and USDA nutrition center, a philanthropic foundation, a nursery alliance, statewide clinics and many education and outreach programs — all focused on fulfilling a promise to define, discover and deliver unprecedented child health. ACH is a Magnet-recognized facility operating the state’s only Level I pediatric trauma center; the state's only burn center; the state's only Level IV neonatal intensive care unit; the state's only pediatric intensive care unit; the state’s only pediatric surgery program with Level 1 verification from the American College of Surgeons (ACS); and the state's only nationally recognized pediatric transport program. Arkansas Children’s is nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report in seven pediatric subspecialties (2025-2026): Cancer, Cardiology & Heart Surgery, Nephrology, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Pulmonology & Lung Surgery and Urology. ACNW, the first and only pediatric hospital in the northwest Arkansas region, is a Level IV pediatric trauma center. ACNW operates an inpatient unit that will expand in 2026; a surgical unit with five operating rooms; outpatient clinics offering over 20 subspecialties; diagnostic services; imaging capabilities; occupational therapy services; and northwest Arkansas' only pediatric emergency department. Generous philanthropic and volunteer engagement has sustained Arkansas Children's since it began as an orphanage in 1912, and today ensures the system can deliver on its promise of unprecedented child health. To learn more, visit archildrens.org.
