Arkansas Children’s provides services to youth with gender dysphoria using individualized treatment plans developed for each patient. The interdisciplinary team collaborates with patients, parents and guardians, mental health providers and schools to ensure the best possible health outcomes. The program recognizes the unique issues facing youth experiencing gender dysphoria and ensures that patients and families feel valued and respected while in our care. We provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a comfortable and safe environment that is consistent with Arkansas law.
Offered on the campuses of Arkansas Children’s Hospital (Little Rock) and Arkansas Children’s Northwest (Springdale), care is provided through a multidisciplinary approach that addresses the patient’s social-emotional needs.
