Arkansas Children’s celebrates outstanding performance by the awarding of Victory Value pins and cards to those employees who show a true dedication to our mission. All managers and team members who wish to recognize a coworker for meeting one of our core values may present a Victory Value card and pin.
Arkansas Children’s recognizes all of its employees and medical staff during Children’s Hospital Week. This week is packed full of events and gifts to show our appreciation for all of those who take care of the children of Arkansas as they deliver on our promise of unprecedented child health: defined and delivered.

The annual OneTeam Awards Celebration, held in February, recognizes employees who have been nominated by their peers for outstanding representation of our core values and for the Champion for Children award. We also celebrate our winners of the prestigious Ruth Olive Beall Award, and Diane Mackey Award, as well as other physician and research-related awards. In addition, recognition is given to each individual celebrating 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45+ years of service during the prior year. This a night filled with gratitude, joy, and appreciation for all the outstanding work at Arkansas Children’s each year.

Arkansas Children’s hosts a number of employee events throughout the year to encourage and enjoy each other’s company. These include events such as a baseball night at the Arkansas Travelers game, ice cream socials, holiday parties, Veteran’s day celebrations, and much more. Our goal is to help employees know how much they are appreciated and valued.
