Immunocompromised Infectious Disease

Arkansas Children's Hospital (Little Rock)

Arkansas Children’s, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric immunocompromised host infectious diseases clinical educator or physician-scientist at the ranks of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. Successful candidates will join the state’s only pediatric health system and play a key role in shaping the future of child health in our region.

                 

Position Info & Program Highlights

Join a dynamic team at Arkansas Children’s of 8 full-time physician faculty, two Ph.D. researchers, a nurse practitioner, two pediatric infectious diseases pharmacists and a strong team of nursing and administrative professionals who support our clinical, research and educational missions, providing nationally ranked and recognized care to patients statewide and regionally.

Physician Leadership

Qualifications for this position:

  • Preferred candidates will have a passion for clinical excellence, teaching, quality improvement, innovation and the values of equity and inclusion
  • Physician-scientists at any stage of their career with a successful track record of clinical, basic science or translational research are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must have an M.D., D.O., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent
  • Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Arkansas
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics in the subspecialty of Pediatric Infectious Diseases
