ACNW Pulmonology

Arkansas Children's Northwest (Springdale)

Arkansas Children’s, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking board-certified or board-eligible pediatric pulmonology physicians. Successful candidates will join the state’s only pediatric health system at our hospital in Springdale, Arkansas, and play a key role in shaping our rapidly growing program in the Northwest Arkansas region.

                 

Pulmonology Program and Position Highlights

The team includes another pulmonologist, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists and a full complement of pediatric subspecialists and allied health professionals, supported by our health system. Other highlights include:

Qualifications for this position:

  • M.D. or equivalent degree
  • Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Arkansas
  • Board certification in Pediatrics and sub-specialty, as appropriate

Arkansas Children's Is Undergoing An Exciting Expansion

In 2026, ACNW will create more resources, advanced tools and spaces tailored to children’s specific needs. This growth will bridge a gap for families from surrounding states who need higher levels of specialized care and will further reduce the need for Arkansas families to seek care outside the region.  

In 2026, key enhancements to ACNW will include expanding several outpatient specialties, including Pulmonary through 16,500 new square feet of space.
