Lindsey Wolf, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric surgeon, specializing in neonatal surgery, abdominal wall defects and surgical care for critically ill children, at Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH) in Little Rock, and is an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She holds several leadership roles including surgical director of the neonatal intensive care unit, associate program director of the pediatric surgery fellowship and director of surgical research.

Dr. Wolf earned her Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass., before completing her medical degree at the University of California in San Francisco, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She earned a Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston while completing her surgical residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She completed her pediatric surgery fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Wolf's research focuses on improving access to pediatric surgical care in rural and underserved populations, domestically and globally. She secured funding from the National Institutes of Health and the American College of Surgeons to support this work and has published in leading journals including the Journal of Pediatric Surgery, Annals of Surgery and JAMA Surgery.

Dr. Wolf's global surgery work is a defining thread of her career. She has developed an ongoing partnership with Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe, Malawi, where she mentors surgeons, supports research initiatives and works to strengthen neonatal surgical care in a resource-limited setting. She is an active member of the Global Initiative for Children's Surgery and serves on the American College of Surgeons Committee on Global Engagement.

She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Surgery. She is an active member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association and the Association of Women Surgeons.
