Just an overall lack of meaningful treatment plan options and no sense of urgency to get our son to the right team. Felt very much alone. It's been 3 years of us trying to get him help. We asked for treatment for his sleep apnea when we had his tonsils removed there almost three years ago. I was told that would help his breathing but his apnea and his weight are both out of control now.

We have been battling breathing/sinus issues with my son off and on for years but pretty consistently for the last 7 months. We have been to multiple appointments and even a few practitioners (between PCP, specialist and specialist aprn)... Let me tell you Dr. Wineland explained things so well! He even had me over and showed me EXACTLY what was wrong! The way the previous doctors explained it, I thought it was going to be some extensive surgery. Dr. Wineland showed me the problem, explained exactly how he would do the surgery, talked about speed of both surgery and recovery. My mind was blown. He explained and showed me everything so well in such a brief interaction with him, that when the scheduling nurse asked if I had any questions, I didn't! He explained everything so well!!!
