Tabitha Mealer is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She provides pediatric orthopedic care at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Mealer earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1998, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2011. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2019.

Mealer holds certifications as an advanced practice registered nurse, primary care pediatric nurse practitioner and certified pediatric nurse. She has served as both an adjunct nursing clinical instructor and preceptor for APRN students. Her research interests include pain management in pediatric patients, including published work on heel stick pain reduction and ongoing research in pin pulls and pain control. Outside of work, Mealer enjoys spending time with her family, including her grandbaby.
