Praveen Ramani, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric neurologist at Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH) in Little Rock and assistant professor of pediatrics and associate program director of the child neurology residency program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). His clinical focus is on epilepsy and neurological disorders, serving as clinical director of the infantile epileptic spasms syndrome program, a specialized epilepsy program in Arkansas.

Dr. Ramani earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Government Medical College in Vellore, India. He completed his pediatric residency and child neurology residency at UAMS and ACH, followed by an epilepsy fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.

Dr. Ramani is active in epilepsy syndromes and surgery research. He has published peer-reviewed work in journals including Epilepsia Open and the Journal of Child Neurology, where he serves on the editorial board. He has presented his research at national meetings including the American Epilepsy Society and the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Ramani was recognized with the Ernst A. Rodin Distinguished Fellowship from the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, a competitive national award supporting advanced training in clinical neurophysiology.

He is a member of several medical organizations, including American Epilepsy Society, the American Academy of Neurology and the Child Neurology Society.
